Analysis of Die Casting Process
SUMMARY OF THE DIE CAST PROCESS
By reusing the same metal mold, you will be able to produce one million products with the Die Casting process. In order to project and solidify the molten metal into the mold, a cool down amenity such as cooling water lines to reduce the heat are necessary. When the placement of the cooling lines in the metal mold are inadequate, the temperature distribution becomes uneven and defects such as missus, soldering marks, and deformations may appear. Also, if the amount of heat that is discharged from the fluid flow and the amount of heat that is discharged from the cooling lines is unbalanced, you will not be able to maintain a certain temperature for the metal mold.
Less tact time is desired in order to manufacture products from the perspective of Die Cast productivity. By defending against defects and by estimating the position of the cooling lines and optimizing the tact by computer simulation, the Die Cast process will become very useful. To illustrate this product, we performed a process of a metal mold with a steady temperature distribution analysis
Shown in Figure1 is the Die Casting process summary

Figure 1 Basic Concept of the Die Cast Process
The Die Cast process is divided into overviews that are mentioned below.
(1) Move the ejector die to cover the direction die to form a cavity.
(2) Pour the fluid into the sleeve of the ejector die and shoot the fluid into the cavity with the plunger.
Leave it stand for a while after the shooting in order to let the molten metal cool and solidify.
(3) Separate the metals by moving back the ejector die and remove the product.
(4) Wash the surfaces of the cavity by applying the release agent.
Spray air in order to remove any moisture.
(5) Close the mold again.
