Fatigue, Fracture & Durability      
 

ProSIM has very high level of expertise in the areas of numerical simulation of fatigue, fracture and durability. Complex duty cycle loads / service loads are accounted in computer simulation to predict:

  • Crack initiation in Multi-Axial fatigue
  • Thermo-mechanical fatigue
  • Creep
  • Creep – Fatigue interaction
  • Use strain based or stress based algorithms
  • Crack propagation to failure
  • Estimate the stress intensity factors
  • Fatigue of welded structures

ProSIM has applied these in the automotive, aerospace, power plants, and other verticals for
