Power Plants

ProSIM works with power plant designers, OEMs, and operators to provide collaborative R&D and design support.

ProSIM conducts stress and thermal analysis of the equipment during design or operating stage. Fatigue analysis to predict the creep and thermo-mechanical fatigue damage  to estimate the cycles to failure.

Conduct the crack growth analysis using non-linear finite element method (FEM) analysis to predict and visualize 3D non-planar crack propagation under operating duty cycle loads.

ProSIM is engaged in damage tolerance based design of rotating and static parts gas and steam turbines.

ProSIM has been partnering with operators and OEMs for remaining life assessment and extension of turbines, boilers, piping and other accessories in power plants.

ProSIM conducts a variety of advanced training programmes for the benefit of engineers from power plants for finite element analysis, fatigue analysis, fracture mechanics, remaining life assessment and related topics.
